VALUA offers one free consultation hour to all new clients.
The price for drafting a patent application (excluding filing) varies. Please do not hesitate to contact us, in case you need a quote for a specific case.
Our fees (indicative) for filing a patent application can be found in the overview below. Please note that all official fees as well as any work in connection to drafting or amending the application are not included in the listed fee but are added to our fee below.

Prices do not include VAT. While all due care has been undertaken in preparing this page, errors may occur.
Generel information
Most tasks are debited according to the time spent on the case. Certain tasks carry a fixed fee. Clients can be provided with an overview of costs upon request. In addition to the time registration, we also take the nature of the task and our liability exposure into consideration upon assessing the total costs.
It is possible to discuss agreements of alternative valuation of remuneration, e.g. a fixed price on a delimited project.
Payment must be made at the latest 15 days from the invoice date.
We might request a deposit in some cases, e.g. in connection with payment of disbursements.
Confidentiality and impartiality
You can be confident that your inquiry will be handled confidentially.
We are careful not to take on projects or clients where there is even the slightest risk of a conflict of interest.
Responsibility and insurance
We are liable for our services in accordance with Danish law. We maintain professional liability insurance with a major Danish insurance company.
How to cut costs
In addition to the competitive prices we offer, costs may be further reduced by:
- Agreeing on fixed prices or maximal budgets for the individual tasks.
- Requesting oral rather than written reporting.
- Planning a few weeks ahead to avoid urgent tasks.
- Make a framework agreement if the project extends over more than a couple of months.
